Romany Experience

Walk back in time to the heyday of the wagon-time when Gypsies roamed the open road. This unique collection of genuine Romany wagons is the largest in the country. All laid out in realistic scenes – a Gypsy encampment with wagons gathered around the camp fire, a village street and at the annual horse fair at Appleby. A museum with a difference complete with talking models and even atmospheric smells!
